The Rotating Browser Tab Title app automatically shows customized messages in a visitor's browser tab (rather than just showing the page title) when they click into another browser tab or into another program/app on their computer. You can have the tab title text rotate between up to 5 different messages (including emojis) every several seconds (as you define in the Settings). The mere fact that the tab title is changing will draw visitors' eyes to the tab. But you can also use this app to create a sense or urgency and/or offer a coupon code (promo code) to increase the likelihood of the visitor placing an order.

3. Configure Settings
You will see the following settings on the page:
- 1st message (required) - Enter the text of the 1st message to be displayed after a visitor's tab becomes "inactive" (meaning the person navigates to another tab in their web browser or navigates to another program/app on their computer).
- 2nd message (optional) - If you want the tab title to proceed to showing a 2nd message, enter the text of the 2nd message here. (Leave this field blank if you don't want the tab title to rotate to a 2nd message.)
- 3rd message (optional) - If you want the tab title to proceed to showing a 3rd message, enter the text of the 3rd message here. (Leave this field blank if you only want the tab title to rotate between messages 1 and 2.)
- 4th message (optional) - If you want the tab title to proceed to showing a 4th message, enter the text of the 4th message here. (Leave this field blank if you only want the tab title to rotate between messages 1, 2 and 3.)
- 5th message (optional) - If you want the tab title to proceed to showing a 5th (and final) message, enter the text of the 5th message here. Af (Leave this field blank if you only want the tab title to rotate between messages 1, 2, 3 and 4.) After displaying the 5th message, the tab title will loop back to showing message 1 again (then on to 2, 3, 4 and 5). It will continue showing the messages on a loop over and over until the visitor closes the tab.
- Delay before showing 1st message - Specify how many seconds after the visitor navigates away to another browser tab or program/app until the visitor's browser tab title should change to the first message.
- Delay between changing messages - Specify how many seconds each message should be shown before auto-rotating to the next message (or, in the case of the final message, loop back to showing the 1st message again).
4. Important Notes
1. This app works for your entire website, not just product pages. Regardless of whether the visitor was viewing your home page, a collection page, a product page, the cart page, or any other page on your site, the custom message(s) will be shown in the visitor's browser tab as soon as their web browser tab containing your site becomes "inactive."
2. After displaying the final message (which may be the 5th message if you entered a message in all 5 message fields, or it may be the 1st or 2nd or 3rd or 4th message if you left all of the remaining message fields blank), the tab title will loop back to showing message 1 again (then on to 2, 3, etc.). For example, if you enter custom messages in fields 1, 2 and 3 (but leave fields 4 and 5 blank), the tab title will show message 1, then 2, then 3, then back to 1, then 2, then 3, then back to 1, and so on (continuing on a loop) until the visitor closes the browser tab.
3. In addition to plain text, you can also copy & paste emojis into the message fields to be displayed as part of the tab title. If you have a favorite site for grabbing emojis, go ahead and copy them from there. Otherwise, AmpWhat and Emojipedia are good sources for emojis. (Copy & paste the emoji character itself; do not enter HTML code for emojis.)
4. If you want one of the messages to be the actual title of the page (which is what would normally be shown as static text), enter the following into the message field: %title% (i.e. percentage symbol, the word 'title', and the percentage symbol again).
