How to Customize Your Site's Header

It's important to note that the header is universal for the entire site (although the checkout pages have a simplified, unique header as to not distract customers from completing checkout). Within the Shopify Theme Editor, it doesn't matter which page of the site you are previewing when you click the header section in the left panel (as long as you're not previewing a checkout page). Regardless of which page you're on when you make changes to a header section (i.e. the home page, a collection page, a product page, the cart page, etc.), the changes you make will be applied to the universal site header.
